Wrong, let your husband in the bed. If your puppy is still scared of being alone then put him in a basket in the hallway until he gets used the the outdoors. You have to train him slowly. As he gets confident and used to the back yard during the day, he will eventually cope during the night too. You have to keep him outside as much as possible, otherwise he will believe he belongs inside and give you a hard time every night.
