What's wrong with my car?

I have a 1990 Ford tempo. Recently when I turn my car makes a horrrrible crackling noise that almost sounds like something is breaking. Theres a bad vibration when I stop or when I turn that goes along with the crackling noise. When I turn the vibrating isn't that bad. And when Im driving straight the car trys to pull me to the right. Could this possibly be a tie-rod? If anyone knows please let me know.
