My brother claims I have psychological problems?

I smoked weed when I was 17 and I had a bad reaction to the drug. I was paranoid, thinking that people were starring at me funny and walking off jobs cause I felt strange but that went on for about 1 year after I smoked it and I have got better over time. My brother told me tonight that I have a persecution complex where I automatically ume people are intentionally trying to strew me over. The main point in all of this is he is labeling me with the worst possible psychological, schizophrenia. I just laughed and told him that he has no clue what he is talking about. If I had this major psychological issue I wouldn't be able to socialize, let alone stand up on a stage and play with my band in front of large audiences without freaking out and running off the stage. If I had this disorder I wouldn't be able to hold a conversation and I would hear voices and see things that aren't there. He claims I have a different type, not so severe. I know I have problems and haven't been able to hold a job consistenly since I was 18, I'm now 26 but I'm not walking off jobs like I did back then. I just get bored and discontent. It surprised me to hear him say this....should i see a doctor?
