Photoshop not recognizing transparency?

I gave a friend some png files that have transparent backings. However, he recently had to install his photoshop over again because of an HD meltdown. Now when he opens up the pngs they all have a white background. Even if he removes the background and saves the file (or saves it as a gif or web file) and closes it, when he opens it again it will still have a white background. Is there anything we're not thinking of? A setting we forgot..? Something? Any ideas would be helpful.

No, nothing is wrong. A slab is just a single piece of concrete which becomes the floor of the lowest level of the house. Vomiting, diarrhea all night long what could be wrong with me?

I was fine all day long yesterday, I went and ate jack in the box a Jr bacon cheeseburger (only took a couple of bites) and also was eating off my husbands Broccoli and cheese soup from subway this was all about 4:30 in the afternoon. I went into work at 5, I started having spouts of sickness around 8:30pm where i would just all of a suddenly feel really ill, I would be sweating and my stomach would hurt severely but it would last for 2-3 minutes and happened every about 15 minutes.I was able to tough it out until i got off work at 10 pm.About 5 minutes after i got home, I became very, very sick, I was NON STOP vomiting EVERY 5-15 minutes until 4am in the morning and I know this ill sound really disgusting but I would be vomiting and barely be able to hold my diarrhea in I would have to be dry heaving on the toilet with a bowl to puke in while i have violent diarrhea all at the same time. I was having bowel movements that were completely watery and about a liter at a time was coming out.I had to have repeated this process about 20 times last night.I feel fine this morning except my stomach feels very very weak which is probably due to the vomiting all night.What could you possibly think was wrong with me??I have a feeling it was food poisoning which i have had quite a few years ago and it seems very similar.

Need help with Mercury OB throttle cable adjustment?

Here is a partial answer: The gear box has to lock the engine down when ever it goes from forward to neutral. This is done with the cross (trim) pin at the under side of the motor where the clamps finish up. Block the motor up a little and see if the two hooks that catch the cross pin are loose and moving when you move the throttle thru from forward to neutral .These hooks really suffer if the motor drops off a trailering bar when the shifter is in neutral or reverse.. Once this all works maybe your cable adjustment will take hold. And yes the br barrels is the only adjustment for the control cable. There are other adjustments on the engine which should be left to the mercury mechanic with a lot of referance books.

I'm 33 and I still leave at home. It's just my mother and I. I know i'm need to move out. I just can not afford it. If I had this major psychological issue I wouldn't be able to socialize, let alone stand up on a stage and play with my band in front of large audiences without freaking out and running off the stage. If I had this disorder I wouldn't be able to hold a conversation and I would hear voices and see things that aren't there. He claims I have a different type, not so severe. I know I have problems and haven't been able to hold a job consistenly since I was 18, I'm now 26 but I'm not walking off jobs like I did back then. I just get bored and discontent. I have a great life. Great grades, great friends, and I give great teen advice on how to deal with boyfriends or girlfriends, depression, stress, etc. I can pinpoint the start of any problem and solve it. I've helped someone through depression. But now I have a 'problem' of my own. For example, on the bus today I was listening to my iPod and my friends were talking to me, but I felt tired, and I can't really say 'depressed,' but that's the only word I can think of. It's like a lonely feeling, an unhappy feeling. Like I'm having trouble letting go of something. And what bothers me the most is that I have no emotions except for anger and happiness. Most of the time I'm happy, but other times I feel 'depressed,' and like I need to release some anger. Having signs of pregnancy and l ultrasound shows follicle in right fallopian tube, is this possible?

I went off of birth control on 3/26 (first day of last period) and was fine until 4/9 and have had non stop lower abdominal pain for 6 days since, along with some other pregnancy symptoms. I could possibly be 1 to 1.5 weeks pregnant, but all urine tests are showing up negative since it is too early. I had a l ultrasound today, which ruled out anything bad and showed a follicle in my right fallopian tube. The tech said I probably ovulated a week ago and the pain was from ovulation and I'm not pregnant....but could I still possibly be pregnant since it is too early to see anything on ultrasound? I've never had signs like this before even years ago when I came off of birth control. Thanks!

White face border collie, so many different opinions!?

I am just curious if anyone has ever seen what they know for sure is a purebred border collie, with a white face, or partial white face that is deaf or blind? I just got a border collie with a white face, black nose, black pigment around brown eyes, black on one ear and black spotting coming in more and more on the other. I am very familiar with the problems in Aussies and the fact that you should never breed a merle with a merle. This is a black/white BC however, from a breeder who does not breed merles what so ever. I met both parents who have typical border collie markings, a black tri and a black/white. I have seen another of her dogs, almost all white with some speckling who is an adult and not blind or deaf. I did a lot of research before getting the pup and it all indicated that this is not a problem with non-merle BCs...I still feel confident in this but i'm just curious if anyone has actually had experience with a purebred non-merle BC having this "lethal white?"

Any good decorators who can help me pick a paint color for my living room?

I am inheriting a sofa and recliner, and misc. items. The sofa is beige, the recliner is a burgundy color. I have one wall to put the sofa on and I am wondering what effect painting that one wall a darker color than the rest of the room would be. I am planning on going with some neutral colors. I have hard wood floors, and a a large entertainment center of natural wood. It's a medium wood, not light, not dark. I have a fireplace that is currently painted white. It is brick though, with a painted wood mantle. The opening to the fireplace has a black and gl front. The hearth is black slate. I love black and want to get some tables with wood and black. But the color selection for the walls are driving me crazy. I thought of a mauve, but everything looks so pink. So I am looking at beige's and browns, but think a darker color behind the couch would help the couch not to get lost in the wall. Before doing drywall I just cut the line on 3 of them and figured I could just tie it off and it would be ok. We are getting digital phone. But now only 2 recepts on one wall don't work. I take 300mg seroquel, 1 maximum strength melatonin tablet and 3 Calms Forte (not the round ones, the bigger ones in the white bottle) every night, but still have trouble falling asleep. i bought a cheap-ish comforter at wal-mart. at first, it didn't itch. i mean, it was stiff and i figured it would get soft as i used it more but it didn't. either way, it didn't itch up until recently. it was a burgundy color but under it was white and the material was tough. anyway, it began to get itchy and i noticed that these little white hair-like things would stick to my skin and cause me to itch even more. from there, i stopped using my comforter and decided to wash it/dry it and that only ruined it so i threw it out. however, i'm still stuck with these hair-like things. they're all over me, my clothes, my bed most likely. what can i do to get rid of all of this? will it be as easy as washing my clothes and bed sheets? i really itch, its awful.

36 weeks, feels like I can't eat or drink enough to support us both?

I will be 36 weeks pregnant on Monday. 8 years ago I had gastric byp surgery to lose weight. This hasn't really affected me that much during my pregnancy other than some vitamin deficienciess. Thing is the past few days it feel like I cannot keep up with the needs of us both. I am so hungry and I eat, then like 2 hours later I'm hungry again. I eat when I need to and eat good foods to try to keep fuller longer but its not working. I had gained only 5lbs so far and I have lost that in the last week. I am so thirsty no matter how much water i drink I am still going to the bathroom all the time but its never a full bladder. Does this mean I might deliver soon?
